Finally, season four of the reality TV show Big Brother Naija aka BBN which started on June 30, 2019 and lasted for 99 days has ended with Mercy Eke as winner.
26 year old Mercy happens to be the first female to emerge as BBN winner thereby breaking a record which persisted since the reality TV show Big Brother Naija started.
Previous seasons saw the likes of Katung Aduwak as season one winner, Efe for season two and Miracle, season three champion.
While walking into the BBN house at the beginning of the season, Mercy told host Ebuka Ubi Uchendu and viewers that her dream is to become the first female to bag Big Brother Naija.
Mercy appealed BBN viewers with her realist drama character in the BBN house and successfully won the hearts of many followers of the reality TV show who gave her 41.77% votes placing her comfortably at the top position.
She walks home with a cheque of 30 million naira and other prices worth 30 million.
Unlike previous seasons which were hosted in South Africa, this season was hosted in Lagos, Nigeria, a production of Africa Magic and M-net West Africa.
